Yahuah's 7 Annual Appointed Times Reveal
His Plan for Mankind

The SEVEN Holy Days of YHWH

What I thought...

Christmas and Easter are biblical holy days.

What I learned....

YHWH has SEVEN holy days and do not include Christmas or Easter. We are not commanded to celebrate Christmas or Easter anywhere in the bible.

Holidays are the COUNTERFEIT of Holy Days

The purpose of this post is not to address Christmas or Easter, rather point out that neither Christmas nor Easter are one of YHWH's holy days. YHWH created and appointed seven specific times for us to celebrate Him, they are HIS holy days.  The world celebrates “holidays.” There’s a huge difference. Unfortunately, holidays are Satan's counterfeit version of our Creator's holy days. Satan does not create his own "things," Satan mimics the "things" of YHWH and creates a COUNTERFEIT version. The holidays being the counterfeit version of YHWH's holy days. While the birth and resurrection of the Messiah are biblical events, no where does the Messiah or YHWH command us to celebrate those days.  We are commanded to recognize and celebrate His seven appointed times. How we completely ignore His holy days which are biblical, while accepting holidays which are unbiblical is perplexing beyond measure but not the purpose of this page.  I fear foregoing the Creator’s holy days and in favor of the world's holidays is a grave error. I hope to demonstrate why, let's begin.

Introduction

By and large most “believers” are unaware of YHWH's holy days, despite their repeated mention in the bible. I was in that category. People proudly claim the bible as the foundation of their faith, yet ignore His appointed times. Strange. Very strange. After careful consideration, I now realize the holy days are of utmost importance. Why? They are part of His truth, let me explain. The law is the truth (Psalm 119:142) and contained in His law are His appointed times. We must worship Him in both "spirit and truth" (John 4:24). As YHWH's holy days are part of His law, the holy days become part of the truth we are commanded to learn.

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,

and Your law is truth.

PSALM 119:142

The sum of Your word is truth,

and every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.

PSALM 119:160

More on what I learned....

We will address some general questions about the holy days of YHWH, including:

  1. What are the 7 holy days of YHWH?

  2. What can we learn from the appointed times of YHWH?

  3. Are we permitted to add days to honor or worship YHWH?

  4. Are the holy days for the Hebrews exclusively?

  5. When are the holy days of YHWH?

To understand what the bible says on His holy days, I searched an NASB 1995 copy of the bible I have in Word format.  Searching by key words such as: Passover, booths, unleavened bread, etc., and studied those verses. The verses are at the bottom of the page. There could be more so please do your own search and come to your own conclusions.

(1) What are the SEVEN holy days of YHWH?

Holy Days = Set Apart Days = Appointed Times = Holy Convocation

= Set Apart Convocations = Holy Assembly

1. Passover --- Pesach

2. Unleavened Bread --- Chag Hamotzi

3. Feast of First Fruits --- Yom Habikkurim

4. Feast of Weeks --- Pentecost or Shavo'ut

5. Feast of Trumpets --- Yom Teru'ah

Trumpet = Shofar

6. Day of Atonement --- Yom Kippur

7. Feast of Tabernacles --- Sukkot

(2) What can we learn from the appointed times of YHWH?

The feasts are meant to teach us spiritual truths. The seven feasts of YHWH can be thought of as “living oracles,” I suspect given to Moses based on the following scripture.

"This is the one who was in the congregation in the wilderness together with the angel

who was speaking to him on Mount Sinai, and [who was] with our fathers;

and he received living oracles to pass on to you.”

ACTS 7:38

Think of each feast as a dress rehearsal for events yet to occur. The feasts themselves being prophetic shadow pictures. A prophetic shadow picture is something done in the physical, that were meant to foreshadow something that will happen at a later date or in the spiritual. In the case of the holy days, the actual way they celebrated was meant to teach us truths about Messiah's first and second coming. The shadow picture of each feast teaching different truths, one building on the next, culminating in a beautiful illustrating how YHWH will redeem mankind through His chosen Son of man, Yahusha the Messiah.

Clear as mud? Please allow me to illustrate with the Feast of First Fruits. On the Feast of First Fruits, the Levitical priests offered the best of the spring harvest as a “first fruits” offering to YHWH. They would burn the sheaf of the harvest and the smoke ascended to heaven (Lev 23:10-11). The physical offering was meant to provide insight or prophecy surrounding Messiah's resurrection at His first coming. How? There was a secondary resurrection at the time of Messiah's resurrection. We are told the "saints" that had died (fallen asleep) were also RAISED when Messiah was raised! Those resurrected with Messiah being the first fruits of the human resurrection! I suspect these people were the best of the best, but I don't want to get ahead of myself.

The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;

and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many.

MATTHEW 27:52-53

We know there was a resurrection with Messiah, but how else can we connect the resurrection to the Feast of First Fruits? The first people Messiah appeared to were Mary and Mary. Messiah said something that at first I couldn’t understand. He would not allow them to touch Him because He said He had "not yet ascended to His Father."

Yahusha said to her, "

Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father;

but go to My brethren and say to them,

'I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My Elohim and your Elohim.'"

JOHN 20:17

What? I thought He zoomed right up to heaven when He died? But no, Messiah explicitly tells the women He had NOT yet ascended, but He will ascend. Let's recap.

  • We know Messiah was resurrected and appeared to the Mary's and the Apostles (John 20:11)

  • There were others resurrected with Messiah referred to as “the saints” who also appeared to many (Matthew 27:52-53)

Guess what else we know? The day He first appeared was on the first day, or Sunday (John 20:18-19).

Joh 20:18 Mary Magdalene came, announcing to the disciples, "I have seen the Master,"

and [that] He had said these things to her.

So when it was evening on that day, the first [day] of the week,

and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews,

Yahusha came and stood in their midst and said to them, "Peace [be] with you."

JOHN 20:18-19

So why do we give a hoot it was Sunday? Because the Sunday during the Feast of Unleavened Bread IS ALWAYS THE FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS! After He appeared to Mary and some of the apostles on the first day, Messiah did not appear again until EIGHT days later (John 20:26). Where did the resurrected Messiah go? Where did the resurrected saints go? Is it possible Messiah took those resurrected with Him, and offered the PEOPLE as FIRST FRUITS of the human harvest at the actual throne of YHWH in heaven? Just like the Levitical priests offered the best of the harvest earthly harvest at the earthly "thrown" of YHWH which was the temple. Was the burnt offering at the feast First Fruits really meant to tell us the best of the human harvest would be resurrected and offered at the time of Messiah's resurrection? I can’t be sure, but it does make sense!

I wonder if those resurrected with Messiah could be the 144,000 with Him mentioned in Revelation. There 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel (12x12=144,000, see Rev 7:4-8).  Of course, the 144k has significance. Note, they have Messiah and Father's name's on their forehead.

Messiah = YAHUsha

YAHU = reference to Father's name YHWH

sha = salvation

Messiah's name is a contraction meaning YHWH is salvation.  Of course even Messiah's name has meaning.

Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb [was] standing on Mount Zion,

and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand,

having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.

REVELATION 14:1

If you're scratching your head thinking, WHAT? Don't worry, I haven't connected the dots. YET. Three verses later it says those 144,000 are with the Lamb (Messiah) where-ever He goes. DOT 1: How could the 144,000 go with Messiah wherever He goes if the 144,000 weren't the ones resurrected at the same time as Him?

DOT 2: The 144,00 were purchased as FIRST FRUITS to Elohim and the Lamb. WHAT!?!?!? They below verse explicitly tells us these very same 144,000 are the FIRST FRUITS or the first that were resurrected.  What if the 144,000 with Messiah are the very same "saints" resurrected as FIRST FRUITS who were purchased with Messiah's death?

Last DOT: The Hebrews were instructed to offer something else with their first fruits offering. Wanna guess? A one year old lamb without defect.

These are the ones who have not been defiled with women,

for they have kept themselves chaste.

These [are] the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes....

REVELATION 14:5

These have been purchased from among men as FIRST FRUITS to God and to the Lamb.

And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.

REVELATION 14:4-5

'Now on the day when you wave the sheaf,

you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect for a burnt offering to YHWH.

LEVITICUS 23:12

In Revelation, Messiah is the slain Lamb next to the throne!

Rev 7:17 for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd,

and will guide them to springs of the water of life;

and God will wipe every tear from their eyes."

REVELATION 7:17

And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white [and] clean,

were following Him on white horses.

REVELATION 19:14

They never committed spiritual adultery (defiled with women), they were INNOCENT (blameless)! What if the 144,000 are part of Messiah's army in heaven?His army is clothed fine linen, white and clean. That is prophetic language for innocent and obedient. We are told the 144,000 are BLAMELESS (Rev 14:5).  What if they are part of the beings who fight for Messiah when He returns? In the war (Rev 19:11-21) that occurs before Messiah's millennial reign (Rev 20:4-6)? I don't know and could never be sure. But I am sure the shadow pictures found in the feasts are profound and deep.

Sidenote. We first learn of the feast of First Fruits in Exodus 12:5 (Exodus = 2nd book of the bible). We learn of the prophetic shadow picture of the first fruits of the resurrection Matthew 27:52-53 (Matthew = 40th book of the bible). We potentially learn who these first resurrected become or are the 144,000 in the LAST book of the bible Revelation 14:1-5 (Revelation = 66th book). The point is we must study the WHOLE bible. I realize slightly off topic but a good illustration of Old Testament knowledge as the foundation for proper New Testament understanding. Further, the way the His holy days tie events together in the bible is beyond crazy.

Back to the feasts. If my understanding is correct (I realize a big IF), Messiah fulfilled the prophetic shadow pictures of the spring feasts perfectly. He died on Passover as the Passover Lamb, was resurrected on Sabbath foreshadowing His Millennial reign on the 7th prophetic day of creation (Rev 20:4-6), and brought the first resurrected people to heaven on the Feast of First Fruits (possibly Rev 14:4). To round the season out, the apostles received the gift of the set apart Spirit on Pentecost. Pentecost is the celebration of Moses receiving the law. Absolutely mind bending.

I believe the three Fall feasts (Trumpets, Atonement & Tabernacles) are prophetic shadow pictures of Messiah’s second coming. By studying the Fall feasts, we can learn more about what to EXPECT when Messiah returns (future event). For those who believe that time is upon us, this knowledge is more relevant than ever. Notice how ATONEMENT is a part of Messiah's SECOND, not first coming. Let that sink in. Messiah's message was REPENTANCE for the forgiveness of sins. Those who have ears to hear.... that's all I'll say at this point.

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,

 and He (Yahusha) said to them, "Thus it is written,

that the Messiah would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day,

and that REPENTANCE FOR FORGIVENESS OF SINS would be proclaimed in His name

to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

LUKE 24:45-47

Today the majority of us understand so little about the feasts (myself included), gleaning the spiritual truths becomes more challenging yet not impossible. The more I learn about our Creator, the more I am convinced His holy days truly are the LIVING BLUEPRINT for Messiah’s first and second coming. Everything our Creator does is perfectly designed and orchestrated in a way that's deep and purposeful beyond imagination. We should expect His Holy Days to represent much more than just a day to celebrate.

His holy days are meant to teach us of His plan for our salvation and to prepare us for the Messiah's first and second coming!

(3) Are we permitted to add days to honor and worship YHWH?

The short answer is no. There are seven holy days. Seven is the biblical number of perfection and completion. His Holy days are complete, we need not add or subtract. In fact, we’re expressly warned against such practice.

"You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it,

that you may keep the commandments of YHWH your Elohim which I command you.”
DEUTERONOMY 4:2

Unfortunately, if we think we’re honoring Him by making up a new holy day, I’m not sure He would agree. This point is also made in my discussion on Sabbath observance, but it bears repeating. The question is: can we choose HOW to worship YHWH? Why would He care? Any worship is good worship, right? Umm.. not so much. The Hebrews decided to have a little party in His honor at the bottom of Mt. Sinai. They thought He’d be thrilled. They made a statue (golden calf) and proclaimed, “Tomorrow shall be a feast day to YHWH” (Exodus 32:5). Let’s just say YHWH was not impressed.

"Now then let Me alone,

that My anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them;

and I will make of you a great nation."

EXODUS 32:10

The feast was in His honor? Why wouldn’t He be excited? Unfortunately, we are not allowed to “make up” how and when we worship Him. Further, the whole golden calf thing was repurposed Egyptian Baal/sun worship applied to the Most High. A GIANT NO, NO! How do I know? YHWH explicitly tells us in no way are we allowed to “adopt” worship practices from other nations, how other people served thier gods. YHWH does not mince His words on this topic.

"You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations whom you shall dispossess serve their gods,

on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree.

You shall tear down their altars and smash their [sacred] pillars and burn their Asherim with fire, and you shall cut down the engraved images of their gods and obliterate their name from that place.

"You shall not worship YHWH your Elohim that way.”

DEUTERONOMY 12:2-4

…beware that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed before you,

and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying,

'How do these nations serve their gods, that I also may do likewise?'

"You shall not behave thus toward YHWH your Elohim,

for every abominable act which YHWH hates they have done for their gods;

for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.

"Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it."

DEUTERONOMY 12:30-31

I've noticed a common response to Deuteronomy 12:30-31, I'll paraphrase: "we're not sacrificing our children, so this scripture doesn't apply to us!" But that misses the WHOLE point. The point is not WHAT we're doing. The point is DID HE ASK YOU TO DO THAT?  Did He ask to be recognized or honored in that way?  If the answer is NO, then why are people doing it? Unfortunately, YHWH does not give us the AUTHORITY to “make up” days in His honor. Notice how in the below verse, YHWH says He hates and rejects “your” festivals. They are not HIS appointed times, they are ones the Hebrews MADE UP or ADOPTED.

[Will] not the day of YHWH [be] darkness instead of light, Even gloom with no brightness in it?

"I HATE, I reject YOUR festivals, Nor do I delight in YOUR solemn assemblies.

"Even though you offer up to Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings,

I will not accept [them];

And I will not [even] look at the peace offerings of your fatlings.

"Take away from Me the noise of your songs; I will not even listen to the sound of your harps.

"But let justice roll down like waters And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

AMOS 5:20-24

I wonder if this is what YHWH is saying, boiled down of course. Why are they doing all this stuff they’ve made up to honor me (festivals, solemn assemblies, songs) but they won’t OBEY ME? The highest form of worship IS OBEDIENCE.  YHWH calls them to justice (spirit of the law) and righteousness (obedience to the letter of the law). In other words, true obedience to the law and to the spiritual intent behind the law!

YHWH specifically says He does not want us to add or take away from what He commands. Contained within His commandments are His appointed times or holy days.  Religion denies their holidays are "false worship," but where can I find SUNday church in the bible? How about Christmas and Easter? We do exactly what YHWH tells us specifically NOT to do. We "take away" the His appointed times, and "add" Christmas and Easter.  To make matters worse, both Easter and Christmas are REPURPOSED pagan worship applied to the Most High. A huge NO NO. Christmas is repurposed sun worship, while Easter is moon worship. Sun worship is Ba'al worship, Ba'al is male. Moon worship is the goddess Ashtaroth. Both go by MANY names. It’s by no coincidence they fall on winter and spring solstice. Research what I’m saying for yourself. Better yet, try to find a verse telling you to adopt a holy day surrounding Messiah's birth or resurrection.

The Hebrews forgot His festivals and adopted false worship as we today, disregard His holy days for false worship. There is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9).  We should not be surprised that history is in fact repeating itself. First with the Hebrews, now with humanity at large. We are wise to worship the Creator in the ways He commands. Bottom line, YHWH gives us SEVEN holy days, there is absolutely NO NEED to make up your own. Period.

(4) Are the holy days for the Hebrews exclusively?

Many believe the appointed times or holy days of YHWH were created for the ancient Hebrews exclusively. However, if we listen to the voice of our Creator, we clearly see the appointed times are HIS. When YHWH states His appointed times to Moses, we must look at the words He chose. YHWH says “My appointed times are these.” He does not say, these are the appointed times for the Hebrews are these. You see, these days were revealed to the Hebrews, not created for the Hebrews. This difference must be understood.

Yahuah spoke again to Moses, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'Yahuah's appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations--

My appointed times are these:

LEVITICUS 23:1-2

'These are the appointed times of Yahuah'...

LEVITICUS 23: 4 & 37

YHWH made a covenant with a specific man, that man was Abraham. While the covenant was with Abraham exclusively, the benefit was for all the nations.  The below three verses are YHWH speaking to Abraham. Notice in every promise, YHWH repeats His intention to bless ALL THE FAMILIES AND NATIONS, not only the Hebrews.

And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse.

And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."

GENESIS 12:3

YHWH said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,

since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation,

and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed...

GENESIS 18:19

"In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,

because you have obeyed My voice."

GENESIS 22:18

Some believe YHWH's plan for salvation is only for the Hebrews. The promises to Abraham "debunk" this. Yes, YHWH chose a specific lineage to be His nation. Abraham's descendants were to become a nation of priests before YHWH (see below verse). The nation of priests were supposed to teach all the nations the ways of YHWH.  Israel would bless them with knowledge and an example of how to follow our Creator. Of course, that didn't end up working out so well, but that's not the point. The point is that Israel (Abraham's descendants) were meant to bless ALL the nations.

'Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant,

then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;

 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.'

These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel."

EXODUS 19:5-6

If you believe YHWH's plan for salvation is only for the Hebrews, then it makes sense to ignore His holy days. However, if you believe YHWH has a plan of salvation for ALL people, learning about His holy days is an essential part of the plan. Think about it, we all want to be a part of YHWH's eternal kingdom, so why would we reject the holy days meant to teach us about the plan to get us there?  The truths of His holy days are lessons that all sincere followers of YHWH must seek to understand.

(5) When are the holy days of YHWH?

The chart below lists some specifics for each of the seven holy days: name, month, day, length of festival, and if we are required to rest.

fall feast summary chart.PNG

The actual dates for the holy days are provided in scripture. Small problem, they are based on the Creator's reckoning of time which is not how we measure time today.  The calendar we use today is the "Gregorian" calendar, here's some interesting facts (ref):

  • The calendar went into effect in the last 1500's

  • The purpose was to "fix" the previous (Julian) solar calendar

  • The solar new year begins in January following the rebirth of the "sun"

Now here's some interesting points on the Creator's calendar or reckoning of time.

  • The month's are based on lunar cycles, not the sun

  • The year of YHWH is 364 not 365 days (see book of Jubilees)

  • The Creator's year starts over in the spring, in the month of Passover (Exodus 12:2 & Deuteronomy 16:1)

The point is, these two calendars are VERY different. I’ve looked at what many say are the “correct days” and because the calendars are so different, there are different answers. Please use the below chart as a general guide to His appointed times, these dates may or may not be correct. I wish there was an easier way to explain, but the truth is the Hebrew calendar is foreign and therefore complicated. I believe the distortion of our calendar from lunar to solar was no accident, but that’s a discussion for another time.

Conclusion

The way YHWH’s four spring holy days line up with Messiah’s death and resurrection is ASTOUNDING. The perfection. The absolute precision in timing.  Admittedly I do not fully understand what the holy days are meant to teach. However, I believe the spiritual truths are well within our reach, if we seek.

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;

knock, and it will be opened to you.

“For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened."

LUKE 11:9-10

Many think Messiah is talking about things that we want or need. However, if we read just TWO verses down, Messiah tells us exactly what we should be asking for and seeking. The Set Apart Spirit of YHWH! Seek and you will find has NOTHING to do with earthly needs, and everything to do with seeking His Spirit which will guide you to truth.

"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,

how much more will [your] heavenly Father give the Set Apart Spirit to those who ask Him?"

LUKE 11:13

I hope you study His feasts and celebrate His feasts, as I will continue to study and participate as well. We need to rely on the Set Apart Spirit to guide us to the truth of His Holy Days.  The Set Apart Spirit alone is our teacher! Trust in these promises!

"But do not be called Teacher; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers."

"Do not call [anyone] on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven."

MATTHEW 23:8-9

"But the Helper, the Set Apart Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name,

He will teach you all things,

and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”

JOHN 14:26

As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you,

and you have no need for anyone to teach you;

but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie,

and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.

1 JOHN 2:27

Leviticus Chapter 23

YHWH created the seven day week at creation. YHWH designated the 7th day to honor Him by resting as He rested.

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts.

By the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done,

and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

GENESIS 2:1-2

One day out of the seven day week to honor YHWH. Seven appointed times during the year to honor YHWH. Seven. The biblical number of PERFECTION and COMPLETION. The days to honor Him are complete and perfect AS IS. We need not change a thing!

Lev 23:1 YHWH spoke again to Moses, saying, Lev 23:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'YHWH'S appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations-- My appointed times are these:

Weekly Appointed Time - Sabbath: Lev 23:3 'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a sabbath to YHWH in all your dwellings.

Seven Annual appointed Annual time(s): Lev 23:4 'These are the appointed times of YHWH, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them.

1. Passover: Lev 23:5 'In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is YHWH'S Passover.

2. Unleavened Bread: Lev 23:6 'Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to YHWH; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. Lev 23:7 'On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work. Lev 23:8 'But for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to YHWH. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.'"

3. First Fruits: Lev 23:9 Then YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, Lev 23:10 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. Lev 23:11 'He shall wave the sheaf before YHWH for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. Lev 23:12 'Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect for a burnt offering to YHWH. Lev 23:13 'Its grain offering shall then be two-tenths [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering by fire to YHWH [for] a soothing aroma, with its drink offering, a fourth of a hin of wine. Lev 23:14 'Until this same day, until you have brought in the offering of your Elohim, you shall eat neither bread nor roasted grain nor new growth. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.

4. Pentecost: Lev 23:15 'You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths. Lev 23:16 'You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh sabbath; then you shall present a new grain offering to YHWH. Lev 23:17 'You shall bring in from your dwelling places two [loaves] of bread for a wave offering, made of twotenths [of an] [ephah]; they shall be of a fine flour, baked with leaven as first fruits to YHWH. Lev 23:18 'Along with the bread you shall present seven one year old male lambs without defect, and a bull of the herd and two rams; they are to be a burnt offering to YHWH, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to YHWH. Lev 23:19 'You shall also offer one male goat for a sin offering and two male lambs one year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings. Lev 23:20 'The priest shall then wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering with two lambs before YHWH; they are to be holy to YHWH for the priest. Lev 23:21 'On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious work. It is to be a perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations.

Not feast related: Lev 23:22 'When you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the needy and the alien. I am YHWH your Elohim.'"

5. Feast of Trumpets: Lev 23:23 Again YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, Lev 23:24 "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing [of trumpets], a holy convocation. Lev 23:25 'You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to YHWH.'"

6. Day of Atonement: Lev 23:26 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, Lev 23:27 "On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to YHWH. 7. Booths: Lev 23:33 Again YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, Lev 23:34 "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to YHWH. Lev 23:35 'On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind. Lev 23:36 'For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to YHWH. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to YHWH; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work. Lev 23:37 'These are the appointed times of YHWH which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present offerings by fire to YHWH-- burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, [each] day's matter on its own day-- Lev 23:38 besides [those of] the sabbaths of YHWH, and besides your gifts and besides all your votive and freewill offerings, which you give to YHWH. Lev 23:39 'On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of YHWH for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day. Lev 23:40 'Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before YHWH your Elohim for seven days. Lev 23:42 'You shall live in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall live in booths, Lev 23:43 so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am YHWH your Elohim.'"
