Intelligent Design
A Collection of 3rd Party Support

Intelligent Design:  Where and When in the Bible?

Biblical location:  Genesis, first book of the bible, chapters 1-2 (scripture at the bottom of the page)

Timeline location:  The Tanak (Old Testament) is the 4,000 years before Messiah.  Creation occurred in the first 6 days of the 4,000 yrs.

Biblical Real Estate:  The account of Creation makes up less than 1% of the biblical text (56 of the approximately 31,000 total verses).

Main Characters:  The Creator Yahuah

Could this Verse be True?

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. ROMANS 1:20

Evolution's Explanation

The "laws" nature appears to follow are by mere chance.  There is no force maintaining our 24 hour day, seasons, physical properties - their existence is a result of random natural processes.

Bibilical  Explanation

Nature itself declares intelligent design. We can expect consistency in nature and the laws of nature because they were written and are upheld by Yahuah.

Intelligent Design

Intelligent design goes hand in hand with creation, but I thought it best to do two separate pages.  Dr. Stephen Meyer is the leader in this theory, check out his website.  The basis of his argument is creation itself is proof of intelligent design, and therefore the Creator.  For example, if I took a bucket filled with thousands of tiny letters, would you expect that if I threw them on the floor enough times that I would get a fascinating book?  Seem like a stretch?  Well, that's what evolution assumes but on a MUCH grander scale.  A book written by haphazardly throwing a bucket of letter is far more likely than the human body designing itself.  The book only requires letters to form words, the human body requires the letters to form instructions and those instructions to come to life and power themselves to create and sustain life.  Of course, do your own research and decide for yourself!

Consider the Human Eye

My son has some visual issues so I tried to learn a bit about the visual system.  Oh my.  So complicated and quite frankly surreal when you think about what we're able to see and perceive almost instantaneously.  Imagine if you had a computer with such fast sight recognition that it was able to announce any visitor coming to your house the instant they were in focus.  Welp, that's what your eyes and brain do in concert without your help.  Seeing takes almost no effort for most of us, we see "incidentally" just by gazing our attention. Now think about what your eyes filter out without effort.  It's so crazy I don't know how we can think this just "happened."  Take a look at these videos and see what you think.  The crazy thing is there are evolutionists that believe the human eye is proof of poor design.  Or maybe poor "luck" since there's no design in evolution.  It all depends on your worldview.  If you exclude the possibility of a Creator, you only see "evidence" through that lens.  Pun intended.

Consider DNA

"The human genome consists of about 3 billion bases in a precise order, each of which can be represented by a letter (G, A, T or C) ref 1).  They are only 4 letters that are written similar to software code.  If you printed out the human genome in 12 point font, it would stretch from Boston to Houston (ref 1).  I can't really conceptualize 3 billion, but one of the videos said if you typed a word a minute, for 8 hours a day, it would take you 50 years to type the equivalent of the human genome.  They're not just random letters or code jumbled together, they're 3 billion letters that tell a cell what to do.  This is mind bending in and of itself.  I can't do human DNA justice, just watch the videos!  We're supposed to believe these instructions (all 3 billion bases) ended up in a cell too small for the naked eye to observe, by mere chance.  Yeesh.

These are both lectures but WOW.  If you get a chance, check them out.  Dr. Jason Lisle and Dr. Stephen Meyer who are both incredibly brilliant and well spoken.  If I had to guess, they are walking in their calling.  They both write books and give lots of interviews and lectures available for free on youtube.
